In an idyllic Cotswold home, all is not as blissful as it seems.
Premiering in September 2019, written by actor and playwright Simon Woods, Hansard is a funny, sharp and entertaining play set in Thatcher's Britain. Five years later, it’s still a searing reflection of the 1980s but, more importantly this is a fine, funny and fiery domestic drama.
This two-hander stars Lyceum regulars Maggie Blaszczok and Colin Smith. The sparks fly as husband and wife fire witty repartee in each other's direction making the shocking conclusion to this comedy a fantastic ending to an hilarious evening.
The performance of HANSARD is approximately two hours including one interval.
This amateur production of Hansard is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. concordtheatricals.co.uk
